Signature cocktail ideas to WOW your wedding guests

Having a Signature Drink can be a unique and creative way to include your wedding colors for that “wow” experience for your guests to remember your special day.
Hiring a Bartender or “mixologist” for your wedding reception or special event, who can create the perfect Signature Drink, is a different way to wow your guests and add some flare, a touch of sophistication and to leave a memorable impression.
With the many color combinations Brides are using, creating a signature drink around the color scheme is not only unique, but memorable. While creating a drink to match the theme of the event, try coordinating a drink around the color of your linens, florals or wedding party attire. It shows a flare of fun and originality, especially if your date is planned around a holiday.
We talked with La’Quantia Goodman, owner and mixologist of PharmD. You can book her services at www.pharmddrinkdoctor.com. La’Quantia created a fun white and gold signature drink for a white and gold event.
We asked La’Quantia to tell us about a great drink recipe she created to enhance a gold and white color scheme. “The signature drinks I serve are often drink recipes I find and create. I know the drink will compliment their color attire, event theme and/or taste. A Signature Drink that would compliment a gold and white color scheme would be my very own Leprechaun’s Kiss. Especially if the wedding or event is held in March. The Qocktail (as I call all drinks I create and sometimes serve) is comprised of Cachaca, Elderflower Liqueur and gold cocktail dusk that makes the Qocktail a shimmery gold color, it would ensure to entise the guests taste buds and be pleasing to the eye.
We asked La’ Quantia of PharmD if a couple is interested in hiring a mixologist for their wedding or event, when is the perfect time to start booking? “ A couple should seek to hire a mixologist at least a year in advance. By May of this year, I was already half booked for June 2022.
PharmD is known for their fun spirited cocktails. La’Quantia tells us some other signature drinks she has mixed up for quite a few special events. “ I think the most fun I had was a birthday party I did. For this party, I incorporated a mixology class so the attendees learned to make two drinks, received the recipes for these drinks and received a PharmD signature glass. In this class, we made a layered cocktail that included rum and was red on the bottom, yellow in the middle and blue on top.”
If you’re planning a wedding or special event and want to give your guests something to leave raving about, because we all know, one thing that makes an event memorable is food and drinks. Try serving cocktails that match your color scheme. Its unforgettable, its signature, and its certain to give your guest that wow factor.
